Mississippi State University and Toxin Alert Inc. (TSX: "TOX"), announced today they have signed an agreement for the development of large-scale antibody production (kilogram quantities) from plants. The five-year agreement will seek out US $ 2.0 million annually in US Federal funding for research carried out between Toxin Alert and Mississippi State University in Starkville, MS, to develop commercially viable growing and extraction methods to produce antibodies and other proteins from plants.
