The advanced technology used by the Chicago Tribune is about to receive an upgrade from Sun Microsystems , AT&T and Nortel Networks (NYSE/TSX: NT) to help ensure continued, on-time delivery for millions of its readers and advertisers.
Chicago Tribune Company, a subsidiary of Tribune Company, , has selected Sun Microsystems, Inc., AT&T and Nortel Networks to deploy an enterprise continuity solution that will replace various servers and some mainframe equipment, providing greater security and reliability while reducing costs and complexity. The solution will link two Chicago sites, ensuring reliable access and real-time "mirroring" of data and applications.
