Valerie Escoffery has been telling her three sons stories about Ghana since she returned from her first trip to the West African nation in 2001.
This August, the boys will have experiences of their own to share when they visit Ghana with the Africa Bound program.
Africa Bound was created in 1990 to educate children about an African country and then take them there. Visiting an African country is an opportunity for young people to experience new things, said Vanessa Johnson, the program's founder.
