Competitors in this year's Lake Ontario Counties Spring Derby will have five ways to win the big money, instead of the usual four.
That's because derby coordinator Dave Chilson of Rochester has added a new walleye division to the derby's traditional brown trout, lake trout, rainbow trout and salmon categories. The contest spans May 6-15; and walleye entries will be accepted beginning May 7, the first day of the season for that species.
