The Allied Defense Group, Inc. announces its Belgian defense unit, MECAR S.A., recently received a $3.2 million ammunition contract from a traditional customer in South America.
This contract calls for MECAR's 90mm ammunition to be delivered this year and next year. As of December 31, 2003, The Allied Defense Group's consolidated backlog was approximately $86 million.
MECAR continues to develop its markets while responding rapidly to its long-term customer requirements.
