MICROS Systems, Inc. , a leading provider of information technology solutions for the hospitality and retail industries, and Kempinski Hotels & Resorts, Europe's oldest luxury hotel management company, announce Kempinski is upgrading to MICROS OPERA Property Management Systems (PMS) and OPERA Sales & Catering (S&C). The upgrade takes place in all new Kempinski properties and those already using MICROS's Fidelio V6 PMS. One of the first installations will take place at the Abu Dhabi Conference Palace, the largest hotel project in the Gulf and venue of the 2004 Summit of the Gulf Co-Operation Council for Arab States (GCC).
