Article: Continental Airlines to Inaugurate Nonstop Service Between Sacramento, Calif., And New York/Newark; Airline to Offer California Capital Easiest Connections to East Coast And Caribbean.

Continental Airlines and the Sacramento County Airport System announced the airline will begin once-daily nonstop, seasonal service May 2 linking Sacramento, Calif., with the airline's hub in New York/Newark.

The new service, which will operate through Sept. 7, will connect the California capital with Continental's New York hub at Newark Liberty International Airport and dozens of cities throughout the eastern United States and the Caribbean.
