Waddell & Reed Financial, Inc. today reported fourth quarter net income of $28.1 million, or $0.34 per diluted share compared to $21.4 million net income, or $0.26 per diluted share in last year's comparable period, an improvement of 31% over last year's fourth quarter.
Fourth quarter results also compare favorably with the adjusted results for the third quarter of $23.8 million, or $0.29 per diluted share - an improvement of 17% over this year's third quarter on an adjusted basis.
