Ron Slavin just set his new cell phone down on the table, and it's already vibrating again. This happens about a dozen times during a one-hour lunch, which is why Slavin recently had to switch carriers to handle the over 4,000 minutes he uses each month.
"I'm on this thing all the time," Slavin says between calls and bites of his sandwich. "It took my family awhile to understand that. Out to dinner, at a movie, wherever we are, I have to be able to answer my phone."
