Neurocrine Biosciences, Inc. today announced positive preliminary results from the Company's Phase II/III clinical trial for the immediate release formulation of indiplon, achieving highly statistically significant results in patients with chronic insomnia characterized by waking up in the middle of the night (MOTN). Results show that patients who woke up in the middle of the night and had difficulty in falling back to sleep, and took indiplon, were able to return to sleep rapidly with fewer awakenings and a better quality of sleep.
