Freddie Mac today reported business performance and risk measures for third quarter 2003 in the company's September 2003 Monthly Volume Summary.
* Freddie Mac's total mortgage portfolio grew by $38 billion in September
2003, contributing to growth of $44 billion during third quarter 2003.
Year-to-date through September 30, 2003, the company's total mortgage
portfolio grew by $40 billion, or 3 percent.
