Electric City announced today that the Metropolitan Pier and Exposition Authority ("MPEA") has signed a preliminary agreement to participate in the Company's development of a 50-Megawatt Power Curtailment system for Commonwealth Edison ("ComEd"), a subsidiary of Exelon Corporation. The letter of intent covers all of the appropriate facilities owned and operated by the MPEA including large portions of McCormick Place, Navy Pier and parking facilities located in Chicago, Illinois. It is expected that well over 100 EnergySaver systems will ultimately be included in the project.
