Delta Connection today begins the first nonstop regional jet service between Grand Bahama Island, Bahamas, and Delta Air Lines' hub at Atlanta with two daily round-trip regional jet flights. Airline and civic leaders celebrated the new service with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 9:30 a.m. today at Hartsfield Atlanta International Airport. Delta Connection carrier Atlantic Southeast Airlines (ASA) operates the new service using the popular Bombardier CRJ aircraft.
