Article: Entergy Charitable Foundation Awards More Than $680,000 to Benefit Local Organizations.

The Entergy Charitable Foundation has recently awarded grants totaling $683,121.53 to benefit local nonprofit organizations that emphasize education, literacy and low income issues.

These awards mark the completion of the foundation's final funding cycle for 2003 and bring the total grants awarded by the foundation this year to $3.9 million. "Entergy is committed to giving back to the communities that are responsible for our success," said Horace Webb, Entergy Charitable Foundation CEO. "Through the Entergy Charitable Foundation, we hope to make a lasting impact on the communities we serve."
