Actonel(R) (risedronate sodium tablets) helped preserve important aspects of bone quality at five years in postmenopausal women with osteoporosis, according to new research presented at the 25th Annual Meeting of the American Society for Bone and Mineral Research (ASBMR).
"Studies suggest that bone quality may be an important contributor to bone strength and fracture resistance. These new data provide value in learning how therapies such as risedronate affect bone quality," said principal investigator Eleftherios P.
