Apr. 17--If you do a lot of traveling on South Broadway Avenue, now might be a good time to seek out some alternate routes.
A plan to install raised medians on the congested roadway is about to move into a different phase that includes periodic lane closures, said officials with the Texas Department of Transportation.
Portions of the center lane will be closed, beginning Monday to allow for the installation of a storm drain pipe. Left-hand turns will be limited, officials said.
