NicOx S.A. (Nouveau Marche: NICOX) today announced positive results from a clinical endoscopy study with NCX 4016 after 21 days of administration, both as a monotherapy and in co-administration with aspirin. The study has been accepted for an oral presentation at the American Heart Association meeting in Orlando, Florida, on November 9, 2003.
NCX 4016 is a novel cardiovascular protective agent currently in Phase II development for the treatment of Peripheral Arterial Obstructive Disease (PAOD).
