It's Your Group (IYG), an international contact centre and business process outsourcing group, has acquired rival Phonetics UK for an undisclosed fee.
The deal gives the IYG group a total turnover of more than #3m. Phonetics is to be renamed IYG Phonetics, but will continue to be run as a separate operation.
East Anglia-based Phonetics underwent a management buyout from Hoseasons Holidays two years ago (PM July 4, 2003).
IYG says it made the acquisition in response to increasing client demand. The company has contact centres in Leeds and India, and handles outsourcing for a range of blue-chip companies. ...
