United Industrial Corporation announced today that its AAI Corporation Engineering Support Inc. (ESI) subsidiary has received a significant order from the U.S. Air Force to build and deliver additional maintenance training devices for the service's C-17 Globemaster III transport and provide engineering support.
The initial delivery award is valued at $37.7 million. ESI will build the trainers in its Charleston, S.C., facility and expects to deliver the first of the three trainers in mid-2005.
