MAPLE GROVE, Minn., June 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Norstan Communications announced today that it has taken disciplinary actions against five of its employees who breached telephone security at Dillard's Department Store (NYSE: DDS). The breach occurred in mid-May, when Dillard's was accepting ticket orders for the Phoenix Suns playoff games. Norstan Communications is the provider of the phone system at Dillard's.
The five employees, who have a working knowledge of the telephone system, were able to circumvent normal procedures and order available tickets. Since being notified of the breach, Norstan has taken steps to augment the security of Dillard's phone system so that this ...
