NaPro BioTherapeutics announced that it has entered into a research agreement with North Dakota State University, a leading research institution participating in the wheat genome project, for the application of NaPro's non-transgenic gene editing technology in durum wheat. NaPro will apply its gene editing technology to make specific, single base pair conversions in the plant genes with the goal of developing improved crop traits.
