United Financial Corp. ("United") today reported net income for the quarter ended June 30, 2003 of $1,143,784, or basic and diluted earnings per share of $.47 and $.46, respectively, compared with $741,105 or basic and diluted earnings per share of $.30 , for the same quarter in 2002. Net income for the six month period ended June 30, 2003 was $2,125,924, or basic and diluted earnings per share of $.87 and $.85, respectively, compared to $1,478,733, or basic and diluted earnings per share of $.61 in the same period a year ago.
