Garmin International Inc., a unit of Garmin Ltd. , today introduced the StreetPilot 2610 and StreetPilot 2650, cutting-edge portable automotive navigation systems each featuring a high-resolution color display with touchscreen, a CompactFlash(R) data card slot, ultra-fast map drawing and routing, voice prompt technology, and a remote control. In addition, the StreetPilot 2650 includes a built-in solid state gyro and an interface to a vehicle odometer system, allowing it to function seamlessly in urban canyons and other areas where GPS signals are obscured.
