The Famous San Diego Chicken, Ted Giannoulas, is appealing to mascots everywhere to join forces and take a stand for their rights in response to last week's unfortunate incident of mascot "bopping" during a baseball game between the Pittsburgh Pirates and Milwaukee Brewers.

"This has really ruffled my feathers," Giannoulas said. "I'm all for slapstick comedy, but this is a little over the top!"
During the time-honored mascot race after the sixth inning, a Pittsburgh player bopped an over-sized Italian sausage with his baseball bat and was fined $432 for disorderly conduct.
