E*TRADE Group, Inc. today announced the appointment of John F. (Jack) Sandner as head of the retail futures group, effective immediately. Sandner is a prominent leader in the futures industry, and comes to E*TRADE Securities after serving in leadership roles at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME), the largest U.S. futures exchange. Sandner has also become a well-known figure in financial regulation policy, having testified before Congress and in other public forums about issues affecting the financial services industry.
