WASHINGTON, June 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Flight attendants at Alaska Airlines, represented by the Association of Flight Attendants (AFA), AFL-CIO, voted today by more than 96 percent to authorize a strike or other work action against the airline if an agreement between the company and AFA is not reached by the 30-day cooling-off period deadline at 12:01 a.m. PDT, on June 19.  The vote was conducted by confidential mail ballot.
