Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, Inc. announced the results of its first Massachusetts market opening in Boston. The store, located in Medford at 35 Revere Beach Parkway, reported first day sales totaling $73,813, setting a new opening day retail sales record for the Company. The prior opening day record was held by the Krispy Kreme store in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, just outside of Toronto.

The new store opened to the public and began serving Krispy Kreme's signature Hot Original Glazed doughnuts at 5:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 24th.
