Pharmacyclics, Inc. today announced that results of the company's first randomized Phase 3 clinical trial of Xcytrin(R) (motexafin gadolinium) Injection in combination with whole brain radiation therapy (WBRT) for the treatment of brain metastases (i.e., cancer that has spread to the brain from another part of the body) are detailed in the July 1st issue of the Journal of Clinical Oncology (JCO), the official journal of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO).
