Regency Centers Corporation announced today that the Company contributed/sold five grocery-anchored shopping centers to the previously established joint venture with Macquarie CountryWide Trust of Australia. Regency will retain a 25% ownership interest in the properties and will manage the properties on behalf of the joint venture.
The following five shopping centers closed on June 26, 2003. The gross sales price of these five properties was $55.3 million, representing a first year yield of 8.4%.
