The Allied Defense Group, Inc., formerly Allied Research Corporation , announces its Belgian defense unit, MECAR S.A., received $4.7 million in new ammunition contracts, one from a new North African customer and one from a non-traditional customer in the Middle East.
These contracts call for MECAR's 25mm as well as its 90mm ammunition to be delivered this year and next year. As of March 31, 2003, The Allied Defense Group's consolidated backlog was approximately $130.9 million.
