NCI Building Systems, Inc. , today announced earnings of $0.11 per diluted share for the three months ended May 3, 2003, within the range of the Company's established guidance for the second quarter of $0.10 to $0.12 per diluted share. NCI's sales for the quarter were $199.2 million compared with $213.2 million for the second quarter of fiscal 2002, and net income was $2.0 million for the second quarter versus $4.8 million for the same period in the prior fiscal year. The Company earned $0.26 per diluted share for the second quarter of fiscal 2002.
