SEATTLE, June 17 /PRNewswire/ -- "Selections," the managed health care plan introduced by King County Medical Blue Shield (KCM) in January, is once again available in King and Snohomish counties, KCM said today. 
The plan was disapproved by the Office of the Insurance Commissioner (OIC) in mid-April.  This is not an uncommon occurrence.  In Washington state, health care service contractors like KCM work on the basis of "file and use" for most business.  This means that documents setting up a health care plan are filed with the OIC immediately before the plan becomes available to consumers.
