Motorola has launched a new embedded system design contest called, "Sense the Possibilities." The contest, accessible through Motorola's web site at www.motorola.com/analog , click on the Sense the Possibilities banner, encourages designers to demonstrate unique applications of electric field detection and imaging based on Motorola's E-Field imaging integrated circuit, the MC33794. Winning entries will be judged based on technical merit, originality, usefulness, cost-effectiveness and design optimization, in equal measure.
