Openwave Systems Inc. , the leading independent provider of open software products and services for the mobile communications industry announced today that the Taiwan Cellular Corporation (TCC), Taiwan's largest private mobile service operator, with almost 7 million subscribers, has licensed several Openwave products that together enable TCC to extend its "e.WAP" mobile data service with a full set of next-generation data services and enhance the overall user experience. TCC has licensed the Openwave Multimedia Messaging Service Center (MMSC), Openwave Provisioning Manager, and renewed its license for Openwave Mobile Access Gateway (MAG).
