LaBarge, Inc. has been awarded an additional contract valued at $5 million by L-3 Communications Security and Detection Systems, formerly L-3 Security Systems and PerkinElmer Detection Systems. LaBarge will continue to provide turnkey manufacturing by integrating box-level assemblies into higher level electronic equipment for the Vivid VIS108 and Vivid VDS108, inspection systems that uses X-rays to detect the presence of weapons or other contraband.
