Falcon Products, Inc. , a leading manufacturer of commercial furniture, today announced sales and operating results for its first quarter ended February 1, 2003.
Net sales for the first quarter of fiscal 2003 were $65.1 million, a 1.2% increase from $64.3 million for the first quarter of 2002. The Company reported a net loss for the quarter of $0.3 million, or $0.03 per diluted share, compared with a net loss of $0.9 million, or $0.10 per diluted share, in the first quarter of 2002. Excluding restructuring charges in the first quarter of 2002, the reported net loss for the period was $0.5 million, or $0.05 per diluted share.
