McAfee Security, a division of Network Associates , today announced that Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, Texas has deployed the McAfee(R) Active VirusScan Enterprise Edition suite to more than 5,700 desktops and 300 servers across the university's network. Through its multi-layer defense system, McAfee Security is protecting important patient information from the latest Internet security threats. This deployment reflects revenue that was recognized by Network Associates in the third quarter of 2002.
