Trimble announced today that Robertson's Ready Mix Ltd., the largest ready mix producer in Southern Calif., will outfit 600 trucks with the Trimble Telvisant(TM) Fleet Management System to improve fleet utilization. Financial terms were not disclosed.
The announcement was made at the World of Concrete, the industry's largest annual commercial construction show.
Robertson's is installing the Trimble Telvisant system which utilizes General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) wireless service to monitor and manage its fleet of ready mix trucks. The system will seamlessly integrate with customized dispatch software developed by Robertson's to enable automatic ...
