PharmaGap has finalized the structure of its first synthetic peptide intended to correct a number of cancer conditions. This peptide, is expected to correct the behaviour of certain cancer cells in terms of cell division, making them behave more like normal non-cancerous cells. The characteristics of cancer cells include: lack of communication with other cells, uncontrolled growth, and immortality. PharmaGap's technology alters intercellular communication so that healthy cells "teach" cancer cells proper behaviour: they communicate, multiplication decreases, and they can be led to die.
