Accelrys Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Pharmacopeia, Inc. , and Confirmant Ltd., a provider of innovative bio-information, today announced a technology software alliance that will result in a novel database consisting of highly annotated proteins which could provide the pharmaceutical industry with crucial data for prioritizing the selection of drug targets and accelerating drug discovery.
