Mongo was one of my favorites, even though he never looked the part in that tight-fitting yellow ABC jacket. The Hammer was my all-time least favorite, and the precursor to Eric Dickerson, sideline goof. I cursed the Hammer and Dickerson.
MNF on ABC.
An era ended with the announcement that Monday Night Football was moving from ABC to ESPN. These two networks have been spooning for a while, so I guess it shouldn't come as a surprise.
MNF on ESPN.
It will be the same.
