With the seventh pick in the 2005 NFL draft, the Minnesota Vikings select A running back!?
Don't snicker. It could happen.
With three running backs expected to be taken in the top 10 for the first time since 1989, the Vikings' philosophy of picking the best player available, regardless of position, might be tested immediately.
