The spring showers have returned, and with them this question: Are Eugeneans all wet?

There is a school of thought that says natives of the Emerald City don't mind the rain and hence, would never be caught dead - or dry - with an umbrella.

"Generally, we just don't let it faze us," said Larry Wikander, 39, stopped for a moment on his bike while riding in a recent rain near the University of Oregon. "Out-of-towners are more obsessed with staying dry."
