Apr. 20--Brookfield -- A Brookfield Square mall expansion was approved by the Common Council Tuesday despite concerns about traffic and architectural design.
The three buildings -- Fleming's Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar, Abuelo's Mexican Food Embassy and Organized Living -- are planned to open in spring 2006.
They come on the heels of two other mall additions, a Barnes & Noble bookstore and an Italian restaurant.
Mall owner CBL & Associates Properties has said that additional unannounced investments are also planned.
