Portland -- There has been a changing of the guard at Emerick Construction.
On April 1, Larry Sitz became president of the company and Jim McKune became chief operating officer. For the past 18 years, they have managed Emerick along with Kevin Spellman , who is retiring from the company.
Despite taking on a few additional responsibilities in his new role, Sitz will continue to devote most of his time to leading the company's preconstruction services.
