Jakarta, April 20 (ANTARA) - Indonesia's Foreign Minister Nur Hassan Wirajuda here Wednesday opened a ministerial meeting as part of the Asia-Africa Summit to take place from April 22 to 24, 2005, in Jakarta and Bandung, West Java. The meeting was preceded by an Asian-African Senior Officials Meeting (SOM) on Tuesday (Apr. 19) with delegates from 94 out of 105 Asian African countries attending. At the SOM, participants agreed to three main documents, namely on New Asian-African Strategic Partnership (NAASP), Declaration on Tsunamis, Earthquakes and Other Disasters, and a Ministerial Statement on Action Plan for NAASP.
