It's been more than five years since Hampshire officials first heard murmurs of an industrial park idea called Briar Hill Crossing.
After as many years of discussion and debate, the idea became a reality Thursday, as trustees approved the 678-acre project that expects to bring 8,000 new jobs to Hampshire by the end of its 30- year build-out.
"It's a defining moment," trustee Tom Brown said.
