Apr. 24--CHEYENNE -- As Roserita and Raymond DuFresne walk out to their barn, the only noise is the steady whir of traffic on nearby Interstate 25 and the occasional song of a meadowlark.
The couple calls their horses in from the pasture as though the massive animals are children out playing in a 75-acre yard that is the DuFresnes' property.
After living in Wyoming for eight years, it still has a dream-like quality for Roserita, 56, who longed to ride and own horses most of her life.
That dream was made impossible by the fact that until moving here, Roserita lived in Brooklyn, N.Y.
