Dhaka, Apr 25 (UNB) - The state-owned Road Transport Corportation (BRTC) and the Porjoton Corporation (BPC) will jointly launch cheap and comfortable minibus service for tourism in the capital and adjoining areas from June this year.
This was disclosed at a function held today to mark the signing of an agreement in this connection.
Director finance of BRTC Syed Enamul Huq and general manager Progoti Industries ABM Fazlul Karim signed the agreement at the BRTC conference room.
Under the agreement, the Pragoti Industries Ltd will provide 20 minibuses in first phase out of targeted 50. Each of the 30-seat bus will cost Tk 12.63 lakh.
