MANDALUYONG CITY A son-in-law of the brother of Commission on Elections (Comelec) Chairman Benjamin Abalos was shot and killed inside his car by three unidentified assailants in Mandaluyong City yesterday morning.
Dr. Nicolo Echiverri, 40, a surgeon, suffered four gunshot wounds in different parts of his body.
He was the son-in-law of Dr. Arsenio Abalos, brother of the Comelec chairman and a distant relative of Caloocan Mayor Enrico "Recom" Echiverri.
The victim was the general surgeon of Fortune Care Clinic and one of the consultants of the Makati Medical Center.
